I love creating faces and sculptures which hang on the wall or stand alone as unique pieces, but my passion and drive is constantly pulled into developing functional art. Art does not need to simply be a piece which stands on its own, it can become part of the house, furniture, or even items which are used daily. Problem solving is key in designing functional art. Often it must be an exact size, or multiple pieces need to be created, or it simply needs to be fun and unique to grab hold of you each and every day.

Creating salt and pepper grinders, coffee grinders, candy dispensers, and beer taps are unique to each establishment or home, and are personalized. They are memorable and fun, and great conversation pieces. These are smaller, and can become part of your daily life routines.

Cabinet accents, support beams, fireplace mantels and railings help to transform your house into a work of art. They become strong accent pieces which accentuate your home and style. They can look unique and stylish yet still hold more of a conservative style, or can be created in the most wild of ways.

Tables, whether coffee, side, or kitchen tables, can often become something which is lost in a kitchen, dining room, or living room. Using ‘live edge’ wood, and reclaimed/recycled woods, allows your tables to become objects which demand attention, and pull the eye of the onlooker into that direction.
